Absolute Beginners

Absolute Beginners

At every Crossfit London Class you attend, you will learn something different; whether it’s  a strength Gymnastic move, the Olympic lifts or enhanced running technique.

However most classes assume you have a handle on the basic “on your feet” Crossfit moves.

These fundamental moves  can be grouped into three areas:

The squat ( including the air squat, the overhead squat, and the front squat)
The deadlift
(including the sumo deadlift high pull and the Romanian deadlift)
The press
(es) The overhead press, the push press, the push jerk.
The Olympic Lifts The clean and snatch

Whilst there are some 30 other skills you need to master, these are the ones that get you training.

We run  2 regular Absolute Beginner sessions at Crossfit London every week to help you get a handle on these basics, and we basically rotate through these skills. You will need to attend each segment before you attend our full classes

Wednesday at 5.30pm
Sunday at 11am

FAQ

The biggest question  we are asked is, why are there no beginner classes at 6.30 or 7.30pm?  Basically we need to keep our regular members happy ( remember, in 4 sessions time, you to will be  a regular member) We talked to our committed trainees and asked them ,  how they dealt with the issue. Here are their solutions

1) Book on a i-course

2) Tell your boss you need to leave early on Wednesday for 3 or 4 weeks ( and , if you have to, work through lunch, get in  a bit earlier)

3) Use some holiday

How fit do i have to be.

We assume you are dangerously unfit, but have your doctors consent to exercise
