Hey, great workout, Jacob. And is that FIVE consonants at the start of that surname? Anyway, liked the warmup/WOD/fireside chat format for the class.

And Andrew was shocked that an american can count. That or shocked that his punters could count…

(And fair warning: apparently, Jacob is going to be subjecting the punters to “burpee therapy” next week.)

Kieran:

I suppose it is 5 consonants, though Y is a vowel sometimes.

Don’t worry, you only get burpee therapy if you’re late.

This workout has really done some damage to my abs.

It’s Tuesday, so 4 days later, and I still take 10 seconds to stand up from seated. Still cringe a second after laughing or coughing.

I’m probably not the only person suffering.

Arf, you’re not the only one Kieran! My abs are fine (probably didn’t have any to exercise in the first place), but my arms have taken a beating.

I haven’t been able to straighten them properly since Sunday. Isometric stretching has helped, and they’re almost back to normal.

I’m guessing it was the ring training we did, as that’s totally new to me. I’ll treat them with a little more respect next time ;)

Visiting CF affiliates in London was certainly one of the highlights of my trip. Funny to learn that K2Es and MUps suck no matter where you are. ;)

Thank you Andrew and Steven for making me feel so welcome. Your personalities are a great combo for an affiliate. I hope to be back again in the spring but will be following your posts and “borrowing” some of your pain prescriptions (e.g., bullfrog burp) for recommendation at my own box!

Take care.
