WOD 6 June: Sorry…

in CrossFit London workouts

Today’s WOD is one of those that I feel a little uncomfortable about even writing up on the board. The give-away is usually when I write the exercises, but not the rep/round scheme.

I even tried the age-old tactic of doing “fun-stuff” at the start of the session as a way of softening the blow…

So we did some push-up practise, mucking around with hand positions, before heading to the frog stand and other planche progressions.

But I could only put off the pain for so long…

Sorry

5 rounds for time

  • 50 Sumo deadlift high-pulls
  • 21 Ring dips

Perhaps the faces tell a tale…

According to Harriet, this was worse than riding a very unruly horse. Which doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, all things considered.

On the plus side, I have lots of pictures of sumo deadlift high-pulls now…anyone?

Pictures of sumo deadlift high-pulls and more can be found on the CrossFit London Flickr page, here.
