Alex has been involved in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics for 18 years now, 12 years as a gymnast and 4 years as head coach at East London Gymnastics Club. Alex coach’s all ages and levels of Gymnastics, from high level Squad gymnasts to pre school and adult gym. Alex was made regional coach for London from 2007, where his team went on to come second in the National Development Plan. This provided the opportunity for two of his squad gymnasts to train for the Great Britain National Gymnastic team.

As a gymnast Alex had the fortune of being coach by Eddie Van Hoof who still remains the Head of men’s British Gymnast team. Alex had many achievements as a junior gymnast and went on to come second on Floor and Vault in the Men’s Senior British Gymnastics Championship. In Alex’s coaching career he has worked alongside sport collages on injury prevention and certain aspects of Artistic gymnastics strengthening and skills. Working with a number of schools across London teaching Primary and Secondary school. Even having the opportunity to coach the likes of Cheryl Cole for her TV show “Passions Of Girls Aloud”.

Recently Alex have been performing in a Franco Dragone Production called “The House of Dancing water” Performing on a range of acts from Straps to Russian Swing. Here Alex was giving a captaincy, which put him in charge of performer fitness for all the Artists and dancers in the show.  Where he worked on injury prevention and rehabilitation as well as providing circuit training a other training drills to improve fitness and skills.
