So you’ve had a wander around our website, and you reckon that you’d like to give this CrossFit ‘thing’ a go. Good choice.
But how to do you get started?
Just follow these simple steps:
- Step 1: Log on to our online booking system and create an account. It’s free, fairly easy to use, and very secure.
- Step 2: Browse the schedule, and book yourself in for a session* (personal training, classes, or even the iCourse). If you are brand new to CrossFit and are hoping to join our classes, look out for our Beginners sessions. They run every Saturday and Sunday morning. If you already have the basic moves down, or are regularly following the WODs online, or train at another Crossfit facility, please book yourself into a class.
- Step 3: Download the PARQ, complete it and remember to bring it with you for your first session. This is very important.
- Step 4: There isn’t really a Step 4. But if you’d like more stuff to do, perhaps you could check out some of the articles on this site. This one on the foundations of CrossFit is pretty good. And if diet and nutrition interests you, here is a copy of a CrossFit Journal article on the Zone diet.
Wait a moment…what about your fees?
You can find a full breakdown of our training fees in our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
Still have questions? Read on.
If, having read everything on this site and the CrossFit HQ you’d still like to chat about whether this system is for you or perhaps have some personal questions, please book into for a Personal Training session (specifically the ‘Athlete Initial Consultation‘). This will give you an hour with one of our coaches to talk through your individual queries and do some diagnostic work, if required.
Due to our training schedule, we aren’t able to deal with unscheduled ‘drop ins’; when our facility is open, we need to focus on our clients. If you come in without a booking for a class or other appointment, we will politely and respectfully ask you to leave.
Discounted membership
*We offer a 15% discount on all classes, personal training, and workshop bookings for members of the armed forces (army, navy, air force) and emergency services (police, fire service, ambulance service, coast guard). The discount covers both front line personnel, as well as those in staff positions.
To claim your discount, please email Steven with your name and some proof of membership BEFORE your purchase. He will work some magic on your account to compel the system to apply your discount.
Students in full-time education are also eligible for a 15% discount. If this applies to you, please follow the same procedure as above.

Just a small point, when the gym is open to our members, its effectively closed to the public.
We have not built the time in to do “sales tours” or hang out and chat. We pretty much get to the venue, set up the equipment and start teaching, so if you decide to pop down for a look, a chat, and some bonding you will probably be disappointed.
On one level this is a shame because we are all very good at what we do, amusing and very, very, nice (genuinely), although that won’t come out if you just turn up unannounced and interrupt a PT session or class.
So read the stuff on this site, join one of the beginners sessions, or if you have lots of questions to ask, book up for a PT session.
If you are not sure Crossfit is for you, I totally understand. Keep on popping back to the site and turn it over in your mind. From being told about the website by one of my coaches, it took me over 3 months to decide to begin.
But if this type of training is for you, you will be back, and you will love it
If not have a fantastic life anyway.
