CLASSES

Before you start our mainstream classes we need to teach you to move safely and effectively, which we will do in our Fundamentals course. If you have completed a CrossFit Fundamentals course at another CrossFit Affiliate and want to start attending classes at CrossFit London, see our membership options here.

Experienced CrossFitters will appreciate the great programming, friendly atmosphere and exceptional coaching at CrossFit London.

Here’s a list of all the CrossFit London classes that we have on offer.

CROSSFIT WOD

This is your classic WOD class and the cornerstone of the schedule at CrossFit London.

Each session starts with a targeted warm-up, followed by a skill and/or strength segment to isolate and practice specific element, followed by the Workout of the Day (WOD); a high-intensity, functional group workout.

METCON

MetCon is a bootcamp-style series of short, high-intensity workouts. CrossFit’s fundamental moves are here, but without barbells, and limited high-level skills. You will use kettlebells, dumbells, medballs, skipping, ring-rows, sprints, etc in this high-energy, low-skill class.

MetCon classes allow athletes to spend time building a better metabolic engine, with an emphasis on moving with quality at high intensity before going heavy. We achieve this using intervals, circuits and infinite movement variety. This makes MetCon a great addition, not only to newbies fresh out of Fundamentals, but also the more seasoned CrossFitters looking for lighter, faster session.

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFHTING

At CrossFit London’s Olympic Weightlifting classes, you get to follow our dedicated Olympic weightlifting programming. Whether you are a CrossFitter, an Olympic weightlifter, an athlete looking to dominate the competition, or just looking for a great new sport – this is the program for you.

POWERLIFTING

Our Powerlifting classes are focused around the three power lifts: Back Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. We run quarterly cycles of a dedicated periodised strength programme and each quarterly cycles finish with a week of retesting to see how much your lifts have improved.

You can join the classes at any stage, but you are expected to be familiar with the basics of the 3 lifts before you join.
